Peak Flow: 1400 cfs
Peak flows will be achieved by 6:00 AM and maintained through 12:00 noon. Timing of flow changes will depend on conditions before the pulse flow is initiated and will be managed by NorthWestern Energy. FERC required bypass changes for flow reductions are limited to 100 cfs per hour between 100 cfs and 600 cfs in the bypass channel. 2022 FERC approved variance allows for flow increases greater than 100 cfs per hour. If existing flows are greater than directed peak flows, no operational changes will be made.
